
Lowana loves these! having the dark choc chips inside is a real treat. Note if your consistency is a bit out then add either more oats or more water. If you have an allergy to Almonds then you can swap it out with natural peanut butter. Happy Baking
- 1 cup of wholemeal flower
- 1 1/4 cups of rolled oats
- 3 tablespoons of almond butter
- 2 teaspoons of baking powder
- 2 tablespoons of coconut oil
- 2 tablespoons of water
- 1 large egg
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tablespoons of dark choc chips
- Preheat webber or oven to 170 degrees
- Line a baking tray with baking paper
- Whisk egg in a large mixing bowl
- Melt the coconut oil and set it aside
- Add almond butter or natural peanut butter to the mixing bowl
- Add all of the remaining ingredients
- Mix ingredients well to form a good consistent biscuit dough
- Roll dough into 16 balls and then flatten them to your desired size of biscuit
- Bake for 13 minutes then let them rest on the baking tray to set
- Serves 16
