Choc Chip Biscuits

Lowana loves these! having the dark choc chips inside is a real treat. Note if your consistency is a bit out then add either more oats or more water. If you have an allergy to Almonds then you can swap it out with natural peanut butter. Happy Baking

  • 1 cup of wholemeal flower
  • 1 1/4 cups of rolled oats
  • 3 tablespoons of almond butter
  • 2 teaspoons of baking powder
  • 2 tablespoons of coconut oil
  • 2 tablespoons of water
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons of dark choc chips
  1. Preheat webber or oven to 170 degrees
  2. Line a baking tray with baking paper
  3. Whisk egg in a large mixing bowl
  4. Melt the coconut oil and set it aside
  5. Add almond butter or natural peanut butter to the mixing bowl
  6. Add all of the remaining ingredients
  7. Mix ingredients well to form a good consistent biscuit dough
  8. Roll dough into 16 balls and then flatten them to your desired size of biscuit
  9. Bake for 13 minutes then let them rest on the baking tray to set
  • Serves 16
  • Approximately 108 calories per serve
