The beginning of the end

The year of COVID19 brought loss for so many. It also made us reflect and appreciate all that we do have. For some it was the year of opportunity and others the year of gain. For our family it was the year of change.

After returning from a camping trip with family in the North West, it got us talking seriously about selling our house buying a caravan and taking our business on the road. It had always been a dream of ours but this time we were making it happen!

Before Lyndon flew out for a 10 week job, we decided to try our luck and put the house on the market. Within a week it was sold, however as you can imagine selling furniture and packing with a two year old whilst Lyndon away was challenging. When Lyndon returned it was no longer our home.

After looking at all different makes and models of caravans we chose the Jayco journey outback 19.61-3. Reasons being the weight of the van, affordability and comfort. Glenn from Caravanland helped us out big time. It’s currently in the build process and while that’s happening we are preparing our vehicle for our adventure.
